Ok, been looking at the Scarification and Branding section of deviantart and am now motivated to give my opinion(s) on tattoos, scars, and brands (henceforth referred to collectively as t/s/b).
1. A t/s/b should be in a spot that can be easily covered up if need be. Your back, stomach, hip, and shoulder are all great spots for t/s/b for this reason. Forearm, leg, ankle, foot, and hand t/s/b should be kept smaller and more subtle unless you want to risk having to wear gloves, long sleeves, and long pants in the dead of summer. Facial tattoos are a terrible idea, no matter how you look at it.
